2 jars dried beef
2 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, reg. size cans or 1 family-size
1 round loaf Hawaiian bread
In food processor or chopper, finely chop dried beef; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and add dried beef and cream of mushroom soup. Add finely chopped green onions, to taste.* Refrigerate at least one hour so flavors can blend. Cut off top 1/4 of bread and carefully scoop out bread, leaving a 1" shell. Cut bread to use as dippers. Spoon in dip and serve with bread, crackers or favorite dippers.
*I think the original recipe called for 2 bunches but that was too much for me. My mom, sister and I make this dip for all party occasions. It’s always a hit.
