Hearty Creamy Noodle Casserole

1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 1/2 oz.)
1 pound Italian sausage
1 pint ricotta or cottage cheese (16 oz.)
1 package extra wide noodles (12 oz.) – cooked
1 package shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz.) – divided
1 can sliced mushrooms (4 oz.)
1/2 cup green bell pepper – chopped
Preheat oven to 350F. Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high
heat about 5 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring to separate.
Combine sauce, sausage, ricotta cheese, noodles, half the mozzarella
cheese, mushrooms and bell pepper in large bowl. Spoon into 3-quart
or 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake, uncovered, about 25 minutes or until heated through.
