Living in Japan but originally from Scotland.
I had some whale given to me today at lunch time. It was quite like beef but not quite as nice.
The ironic thing is that the U.K. fishing industry destroyed the fish stocks around the U.K. in the 1900s but we are supposed to tell the Japanese that eating whales is wrong. This to me shows the hypocrisy of the ‘white man’.
Just to be clear, I’m not in favor of killing whales but people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Sorry…I’ve got whales on the brain just now. I came here because I am interested in making my own pies. Not something I can find where I live just now.
