Southern Belle 2067
Shrimp & Artichoke Pasta Sauce
saute 3 chopped toes fresh garlic in 3 tbsp. of Olive oil
add one large chopped onion
add 1 can 16 oz diced tomato
cook 3 mins
Add 1 can tomato puree 28 oz
reduce heat to medium
add 1 small can tomato paste
spice with 1 tbsp fresh Basil chopped
1/2 tbsp. oregano dried
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp. caynne pepper or to taste
2 tsp smoked sea salt or to taste
SIMMER 30-40 mins
Add 1 jar marinated artichoke hearts appox.14oz
continue to simmer 20-30 mins
Add 1 pound cleaned deveined Shrimp
raise heat to low, cook until shimp are done enough for you
serve over whole wheat pasta
personal preference barilla Whole Wheat thin Spaghetti
