homemade bread crumbs

Can bread crumbs made from leftover or stale bread made in the food processor be frozen? When thawed they are “wet”. Is that okay to use for recipes?

I make bread crumbs from leftover bread all the time. As long as they are thoroughly dried there really is not need to freeze them. Just store them in an airtight container. They keep very well.

You can always give 'em a quick heat bath in a 300 degree oven if you’re crunched for time.
