Homemade Fried Pizza Rolls

vegetable oil for frying
4 cups shredded pizza blend cheese
1 pound ground Italian sausage, cooked and drained
6 ounce package sliced pepperoni, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, cored, seeded and finely chopped
1 medium red bell pepper, cored, seeded and finely chopped
1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
two 14 ounce jars pizza sauce
32 egg roll wrappers

Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 375 degrees.
Combine the shredded cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers
and onion in a large bowl. Stir in pizza sauce until ingredients are
evenly moistened. Lay egg roll wrappers out on a flat surface. Place
1/4 of the pizza mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold
the bottom corner of each wrapper over filling. Fold in sides toward
center. Moisten top corner of wrapper with a little water. Tightly
roll up pizza rolls. Add pizza rolls to hot oil and fry 1 to 2
minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve
hot.

Makes 32 pizza rolls.
