Honey Balsamic Grilled Onions
3 large yellow onions, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
olive oil, for basting
1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
3 Tbs. honey, warm
1 1/2 Tbs. soy sauce

On a grill, position a rack about 4 to 6 inches from the heat source
and preheat to high. -
Liberally brush the onions with olive oil, place on the rack and
grill, turning and basting frequenly, for about 20 minutes or until
very tender. -
In a bowl, whisk together the vinegar, honey, and soy sauce. Just
before the onions are removed from the barbeque, brush liberally with
the honey mixture, heat through, and serve immediately.
