Honey Whole Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine

This makes a really good loaf of bread. Best of all, you know what’s in it.

1 1/2 lb loaf

1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
1 teaspoon table salt
1/3 cup honey
3 Tablespoons butter, softened
2 Tablespoons powdered milk or powdered coffee creamer
3 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast (or 1 packet)

Add ingredients to bread machine in order given, or according to your bread
machine instructions.

Set machine to WHOLE WHEAT, MEDIUM COLOR, 1 1/2 LB LOAF. Press START.

During first few minutes of kneading, adjust dough, as needed, with flour or water
to form a smooth, firm, non-sticky, non-crumbly dough.

Yield: One 1 1/2 lb loaf of wheat bread.

Above is a picture of the Honey Whole Wheat Bread. The recipe is in the top message. I used the bread machine dough cycle then baked it in a regular loaf pan at 325 F for 45 minutes. When I put the dough in the loaf pan, I sprinkled some water on it and dusted the top with Quick Oats. The water made them stick. It rose about 45 minutes before I baked it.

Yes please. what size bread is this? I need to know so I can tell the machine.

The bread is a 1 1/2 pound loaf. The loaf pan is a 9 x 5 inch pan.
