How to Make a Healthy Chocolate Donut and Farm Pizza?

Hello guys… :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Recently, my son completed his Salesforce Developer Certification, and I want to surprise him with a special homemade treat to celebrate. He loves chocolate donuts and farm-style pizza, but we try to follow a healthy diet at home. I’d appreciate any guidance on how to prepare these dishes in a healthier way without compromising on flavor.

For the chocolate donuts, I had like to know if there are alternatives to refined sugar and all-purpose flour that would still give them a great texture and taste. I have heard of using almond flour or coconut sugar but am unsure how they might affect the recipe. Also, is baking a good substitute for frying to keep it lighter?

For the farm pizza, I had love tips on making a wholesome base. Should I go for whole wheat or cauliflower crust, and what are the best toppings to keep it nutritious yet delicious? He enjoys fresh veggies and lean protein, so I’m thinking of options like grilled chicken, mushrooms, spinach, or maybe some fresh herbs like basil.

If anyone has tried recipes that worked well or has tips to share, I’d be so grateful. It would mean a lot to make this celebration extra special with some homemade love!

Thank you!
