Chicken Paprika (Hungarian dish)
6 chicken quarters or one cut up whole chicken
one can large tomato puree
1 green pepper sliced in strips
1 onion sliced in strips
2 cloves garlic minced
2-4 tbls Hungarian Paprika
salt and pepper
Sour Cream
Place chicken in oven proof pan
mix all ingredients in a sauce pan heat through pour over chicken bake at 325 for apx 1 hour or until top is brown.
Serve with sour cream on the side
this goes great with egg noodles or spaetzle (a german dumpling)
