I added too much thyme?

Okay, last night my husband made beef burgandy and wanted to throw it away because he evidently put more thyme than the recipe called for. So, my question is…can I put something in that would take away some of the Thyme taste?..I am trying to salvage it for dinner tonight : )

I don’t know how much was too much - but depending on it you may be able to make a stew and add all your veggies, fresh broth, etc.
