There is a restraunt here in dallas called Herreras, they have a very good recipe for queso. I can’t quite make out all of the ingredients in it I know they use onions and some kind of pepper it could be pablano or bell I am not sure. My kids love it as well if anyone has been there and knows the recipe please let me know. thank you in advance

There are some queso dip recipes at: http://recipes.epicurean.com/cooking_results.jsp?title=Queso&recipe_type=Dip
That’s where this one was. It’s not Herreras, though.
1 lb brick VELVETA cheese
1lb can stewed tomatoes
1 lg chopped onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 small can chopped chili peppers
1 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Melt cheese and other ingredients together. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
