Italian Salisbury Steaks

1 lb. ground beef
1/4c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/4c. water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2t. salt
1/4t. pepper
1/4c. Italian dressing
2c. thinly sliced onions
2c. mushrooms, thinly sliced
8oz. tomato sauce
1/2t. basil

Preheat oven to 350. In medium bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef,
bread crumbs, water, egg, salt and pepper.

Shape into 4 patties and place in baking dish; set aside.

In medium skillet, heat dressing, onion, mushrooms, over medium heat,
stirring occasionally until tender.

Stir in tomato sauce and basil. Spoon mixture over patties and bake
30 minutes or until done.
