Jack Stack Barbecue Buffalo Chili Onions
Yield: 6 servings.
1/2 cup RedHot or your favorite cayenne pepper sauce
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter or margarine, or olive oil
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup chili powder
4 large sweet onions, cut into 1/2 inch slices
Whisk together the hot sauce, butter, chili sauce and chili powder in medium bowl until blended; brush on onion slices.
Place onions on grid. Grill over medium-high coals until tender, turning and basting with the chili mixture. Serve warm.
(Preparation Hint: Prepare onions ahead of time, but grill just before serving.)
