Jack Stack Barbecue Sausage Rolls

Yield: 6 servings

12 ounces pork sausage
1 (10-count) can biscuits
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped apple
1 cup shredded Colby cheese
1-tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Drain and cool.

Place biscuits on floured pastry board; flatten and pinch seams together.

Roll into an 8 x 12-inch rectangle.

Sprinkle sausage and remaining ingredients on rectangle.

Roll to enclose filling; seal edge. Cut into 6 slices.

Place slices in 2 greased disposable baking pans.

Grill with lid down over medium-low indirect heat for 30 to 35 minutes or until rolls test done.
