KFC recipe

Does anybody have the recipe for KFC chicken?[/b]

KFC CHICKEN

1 chicken or chicken pieces
3 c. water
1 T. salt
1 t. MSG ( Ac’cent)
2 t. onion powder
2 pkg. dry instant chicken granules (bouillon)
2 t. seasoned salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 c. flour

Cover chicken with mixture of water and salt. Chill in bowl for at least 1 hour. Combine herbs, onion powder, seasoned salt, instant chicken broth, and pepper in a blender and mix well. Place mixture in bowl add flour, mixing well. Remove chicken from water, and dip it into the flour mixture coat well. Place coated pieces on a plate for 5 min.
4. Melt enough shortening or salad oil to make 1-inch depth in a large skillet. Heat to 375* F. . Fry chicken pieces turning once, every 5 min. be sure to cook chicken until done. Lift chicken out and drain on paper towels.

KFC CHICKEN #2

Place 6 cups of Crisco shortening into your pressure cooker and heat on
medium till shortening reaches 400* F. Place coated chicken, 4 or 5 pieces
at a time into shortening and lock lid. When pressure builds up cook for
10 minutes.

Follow manufacturers instructions for your pressure cooker to release!

KFC CHICKEN #3
4 c. flour
2 t. salt
1 t. celery salt
1 t. pepper
2 t. dry mustard
4 t. paprika
2 t. garlic salt
1 t. ginger
1/4 t. thyme
1/2 t. sweet basil
1/2 t. oregano

1 egg
1/4 c. milk

Combine spices; set aside. Combine milk and egg. Dip chicken and coat. Deep fry until done or bake at 350* F.

NOTE:

Dip chicken in egg, coat, pressure cook for 3 minutes; raise lid and pressure cook another 8 minutes. FROM A KFC COOK

KFC CHICKEN #6

1 (3 to 6 lb.) chicken, cut into 8 serving sized pieces, discard backbone and tail
1/4 - 1/2 c. melted butter

Dredge:
3 c. self rising flour
2 env. Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix
2 env. Lipton Cup A Soup Tomato
1 T. paprika
1 t. season salt

Mix dredge ingredients in a large bowl, and set aside.

Dip chicken pieces in melted butter and then dip in the Dredge; coating well. Place 2 baking racks on a 10" x 15" jelly roll baking pan. Place chicken pieces on a baking racks and let air dry for 1 hour.

Place pan with chicken in a preheated 350* F. oven and bake for 60 minutes or until chicken is completely done.

KFC CHICKEN #7

6 c. Crisco oil
1 egg, beaten
2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 t. black pepper
1 t. Accent
2 frying chickens, cut up
4 T. salt

Heat oil in pressure cooker to 400* F. In small bowl combine egg and milk. In separate bowl combine dry ingredients. Dip chicken in egg mixture and roll in dry ingredients. Pressure cook about 10 minutes or until done. Drain.

If using a deep fryer - make sure temperature is at 400* F.

KFC EXTRA TASTY CRISPY CHICKEN

1 whole frying chicken, cut up
6-8 c. vegetable oil

MARINADE:
4 c. water
1 T. salt
1/2 teaspoon Accent or ½ T. more salt

DIPPING:
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk

DREDGING:
2 1/2 t. salt
3/4 t. pepper
3/4 t. Accent

Preheat deep fryer to 35* F. Marinate chicken pieces for 20 minutes. Dip in egg mixture. Coat. Deep fry for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. Drain.

KFC EXTRA TASTY CRISPY CHICKEN #2

1 whole frying chicken, cut up
6-8 c. vegetable oil

MARINADE:
4 c. water
1 T. salt
1/2 t. Accent or another ½ T. salt

COATING:
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 1/2 t. salt
3/4 t. pepper
3/4 t. Accent
