Kielbasa and Cabbage

1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 lb kielbasa**, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
1 medium head cabbage, chopped (rough, bite-size chunks)
1 28 ounce can whole tomatoes, broken up (with liquid)
4 cups chicken broth

In your crock cooker, add all ingredients. Cook on high 4 to 6 hours or on low 8 to 10 hours.

Make sure to layer the ingredients in the same way to prevent sticking.

**You can use any well-spiced, link-style smoked sausage. Italian sausage, Cajun sausage or hot links are all very good.
