Killer Brownie Mix (In a Jar)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
To put in a jar, you will need one wide mouth quart canning jar (any airtight canister will work), layer in order given, packing each layer before adding the next.
To give as a gift, attach a label: Cream one cup softened butter or margarine (not diet) and add four eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Empty contents of container and mix well. Beat until smooth. Pour into 9 X 13" lightly buttered or sprayed pan. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 40-50 minutes.
Makes a great gift for someone who loves to cook. Include the 9 X 13" pan as part of the gift.
