3/4 cup butter (1-1/2 sticks), softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoons lemon extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter with sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and lemon extract. Set aside.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Gradually mix into
butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then remove and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
