Lemony/rosemary Bbq Pork Chops

I got this recipe out of a little cookbook sometime ago and have made changes to it, is very yummy now

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup lemon juice, zest peel of 1 lemon

2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon dried rosemary crushed

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper (Lawry’s)

4 pork chops ( 1 inch thick)

KC BBQ Sauce

Whisk together garlic, lemon juice and zest, oil, herbs and lemon pepper. Place pork chops in a large Ziploc bag, pour in marinade. Seal and refrigerate over night, Turing occasionally. Drain the next day and reserve marinade. Grill pork chops over medium coals or medium gas grill about 6 minutes per side or until juices run clear, brushing with marinade. When just about done brush with BBQ sauce on each side for 5 to 10 minutes.
