I got this from Kitchen Witch and this is delicious,the whole family loved it.

Little wiener barbeque sauce

Lil Smokies

1 bottle chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly ( yup, grape jelly!)
1-3 lb Little Smokies sausage (cocktail sausages)

Mix all ingredients.
Cook in crockpot on medium high setting for one hour, or on stove top for 30 minutes.

(I personally like mine to cook slowly for a longer time until sauce thickens and is clinging to the sausages.).

I use that sauce with pre cooked cocktail meatballs. Costco has good ones.

lvdkeyes I also tried it with meatballs like you suggested and they were great also.
