2/3 C. club soda
1/3 C. lemon juice
1 egg
1/2 C. Bisquick
1/2 C. self-rising flour
Beat all ingredients together until smooth; let stand 10 minutes.
Heat oil to 385ºF.
In small bowl put 1/2 cup club soda, in another 1/2 cup self-rising
flour. Dip fish first into soda, then into flour. Set fish on cookie sheet
till all the fish has been coated; let dry a few minutes.
Dip fish in batter, let excess drip off; and deep fry 3 or 4 minutes per
side. Shrimp can be done the same way if peeled and deveined first.

…Conflicking instructions; which is it? Beat all ingredients together or where does the 1/2 c. club soda n 1/2 c. flour come into play? Ts it extra step ??
excuse me what kind of bisquick do i need to make the batter can you be more specific because there are alot of bisquicks for example pancake mix flour and so on and so one
also can you tell me when does the bisquick come into play and tell me what kind of bisquick i need is it the pancake mix or something else and i will be waiting for your answer thanks by the way
