Looking for a recipe for Fontina and asiago cheese sauce

I have been trying to make a fontina and asiago cheese sauce. I am doing something wrong because it doesn’t turn out tasting anything but bland.
Can anyone help me with a great tasting recipe.
I am just making a quick chicken, pasta, spinach and then the sauce.

Any help or hints would be appreciated.
