Another low sodium favorite of mine.Lynchburg is where Jack Daniels is made and is about 15 mintes up the road from me 
1/2 c Jack Daniel’s Whiskey
1/2 c Low Sodium Catsup
1 t Worcestershire
2 T Vinegar
1/2 T Lemon Juice
1/4 t Garlic Powder
1/2 t Dry Mustard
Mix ingredients together. Brush on meat while cooking.
Cholesterol 0 mg
Sodium 9 mg
Potassium 84 mg
Hey I tried this when I read in your post. And really its taste is so good. Actually I also added a little quantity of blackpeper and it gives me new taste. As this is a low Sodium recipe in which there is no cholesterol it will be good for heart health.
I think this would be a good marinade, but I thought it was too much Jack Daniels in it. Seemed to overwhelm everything else. I will do it again, but about 1 / 2 JD. thanks

I think this would accomplish a acceptable alkali but I anticipation it had way too abundant Jack Daniels in it. Seemed to overpower aggregate else. I’ll accomplish this afresh but with about 1/2 the JD.

DUH??? I looked over this recipe several times and even used a magnifing glass and still did not find any mention of Molassas in it. Brown sugar yes, Molassas No! and Brown sugar when traditionaly made is several staged before Molassas

The Distillery has been around at least that long and the General Store also. In recent years it has been turned from a Small, quaint, country village to a " Tourist Trap" as have several small country towns such as Helen Ga. Is this what you mean by," Since It Opened"?
