McDonald's Chicken Selects


McDonald’s stopped selling Chicken Selects in the United States in February 2013, but returned to the menu on February 25, 2015 and were renamed Chicken Select Tenders. Juicy Chicken Select Tenders are made of 100% chicken tenderloin and are seasoned to perfection. Try them with your choice of flavorful dipping sauces.

Wet Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Dry Ingredients
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Vegetable or Peanut Oil for frying

  1. Preheat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer over medium heat or to 350 degrees.
    Combine chopped chicken, eggs and spices (for the wet ingredients) in a large bowl.
    Mix well and let set for about 15 minutes. Combine dry ingredients together.
    Then take nuggets out and bread in flour and spices.
  2. Drop one by one in hot oil and fry until golden. When done, drain on paper towels.
  3. For sauce, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a whisk well until mayonnaise isn’t lumpy.
    Or you can use McDonald’s Hot Mustard.
