Meaty Potatoes O’Brien

1 bag (2 lb) Ore-Ida Cubed Hash Brown Potatoes
1 lb. Ground Beef - browned and drained
1 lb. Cheese - shredded
1 small Onion - diced
Salt and Pepper - to taste
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
8 oz. Sour Cream
1/2 stick Butter

Topping:

2 C. Corn Flakes (or Rice Krispies) - crushed
1/2 stick Butter - melted
Salt and Pepper - to taste

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a saucepan, combine the soup, sour cream, butter, salt, pepper and onions. Cook on medium heat and stir constantly until thickened.

In a greased casserole, combine the ground beef and potatoes. Pour soup mixture over the meat and potatoes. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
Combine the topping ingredients and mix to coat all the cereal well.
Sprinkle cereal on top of the casserole. Bake for 45 minutes, or till hot and bubbly.
