Need help with a simple batch of ham and beans

I’m having a halloween party for a large number of people soon and i am wanting to have ham and beans for food. My problem is i need a simple recipe and help with cooking times and such. I will be using a turkey frier setup with a 7 gallon pot. I wont have access to a stove and my cast iron pot is too small. I’m wanting around 5 gallons total and want to use white beans and ham hocks. I have never cooked beans before and need to know when to start, temp to cook, stuff like that. I know this sounds like a simple question but i hate to waste money and time. thanks for the help
