I was reading about th Camp Robber Cafe in Montrose Colorado and how they are famous for their Green Chili Chicken Potato Soup. Does anyone have their recipe?
I dont have the recipe from Camp Robbers Cafe however here is
something you may want to try…
Pick up a 27 ounce can of Hatch chopped green chili’s. On the label
you should find a recipe for green chili using pork and potatoes.
Just substitute the pork with boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
I make my green chili using their recipe but with out the potatoes.
I’ve posted it here on the forum before. My friends have always
complimented me on it. I dont recall the amount of potatoes the
recipe calls for or I would post it here.
Hope you find this information helpful.
Frank
Thanks I’ll give it a try.
The reason I joined this forum is because I love to cook and yesterday, I was at the Camp Robber restaurant in Montrose, Colorado, had their Green Chile Chicken Potato Soup and totally fell in love with it. I met the owner and she said it’s her husband’s secret recipe. I get that but still, I would love to be able to make it myself. I was hoping that maybe someone here has been able to reproduce it. Thanks for listening!
