Neiman-Marcus Lemon Bars

Crust
2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Filling:
4 beaten eggs
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour
grated lemon rind

Crust: Combine sugar, flour and butter for crust. Use knife to cut in butter.

Pat into 8 x 12 x 12-inch or 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until lightly brown.

Filling: Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice and beat.

Add baking powder and flour. Beat until smooth. Pour into pan. Sprinkle lemon rind on top.

Bake 25 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides.

Serves 15 to 20.
