new cook

I am a new cook and am wanting to make a couple of meatloaves to freeze for when we get home late from a abusy day. My question is…do I cook them before freezing? or do I just mix everyhting in and freeze them uncooked? PLease help!

I would cook it first along with whatever sides you want with it, including gravy. Wrap with plastic wrap directly on the food and then foil, label and freeze it. Remember to remove the plastic before reheating it.

I know this is not what you asked but I have another possible solution. When both of us worked, I would put together the meatloaf in the morning and cover it with plastic wrap. DH would remove the wrap and place the meatloaf in the toaster oven along with baking potatoes. All was done by the time I got home and was able to change my clothes etc. before setting the table. At one point I did freeze the meatloaf raw but found this much easier.
