This my favorite recipe, quick and easy.
The New York Strip is a very popular, easy-to-prepare cut, and the most popular steak in America.
* 8 large mushrooms, sliced * 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil * 1 tbsp butter * 1/4 cup sherry vinegar * salt to taste * 1 whole garlic clove peeled and bruised * 1 tbsp fresh chopped tarragon * 1 tbsp olive oil * 2 (8-oz) New York strip steaks * salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste * 1 tbsp butter to finish sauce
slice large mushrooms
put 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter into a pan, use medium heat
put down sliced mushrooms,
cook them until they are brown
pound down a garlic, put it with the mushrooms.
let mushroom suck garlic’s flavor.
turn off the heat, add 1/4 cup sherry vinegar into the warm pan, disturb it
pour it down to the mushroom
add soft pepper to both sides of the trip steak,
put oil into a fry pan, medium heat…
then cook the steak for 2-2.5 minutes per side
take the steak out, put mushrooms into the pan,
pour the mushroom liquor into the pan, too
cook for a few seconds, pour them down to the steak
