Overnight Savory Pork Sauce

1 1/2 lbs pork loin, diced
1/2 cup onions, diced
1 (7 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, and the juice from the can
12 ounces beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Place all the ingredients, except the corn starch into a slow cooker set for low and cook 12 hours.
Stir the meat until it falls apart, and add the corn starch, dissolved in the water.
Stir and let it sit for another ten minutes.
