Pan Release (professional Pan Coating)

1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c vegetable shortening (Crisco is good)
1/2 c flour

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer beat until mixture has multiplied in volume, and resembles marshmallow cream. Place in a storage container, and store on the counter, or in a cupboard. In hot weather, it may be refrigerated, but remember to take it out of the fridge, as it should be room temperature for easiest spreadability. Mix lightly, then brush pans gently with pastry brush. Not a thing will stick to your pans with this no-stick mixture! It’s so much cheaper than using a vegetable cooking spray. Just stir lightly with a spoon, then brush on your baking pans. This stuff works even better than Pam cooking spray and will keep forever in your cupboard! This can easily be doubled. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
