pan size

I have recently rediscovered a very old recipe (I made it several times in the early 50’s) for a scotch nut cake. I had given up on finding it but low and behold it turned up in an old book I must have been reading at the time. The problem is that it calls for the cake to be baked in a 1 lb, coffe can, the low wide type that was used in those days.My problem is how can I find out what type pan to use nowadays as these cans no longer exist. Does anyone out there have one and be willing to post measurements so that I can find a suitable substitute. This cake is too expensive to make without some hope of success. Altardee
