Papa Murphys Copycat Chicken Bacon Artichoke deLITE Pizza

Papa Murphys Copycat Chicken Bacon Artichoke deLITE Pizza

This makes a really good pizza. I left off the bacon and substituted Cara Mia drained artichoke hearts instead.

Makes One 14-inch pizza
Total Time: about 6 1/2 hours (6 hour dough rise, 18 to 20 minute baking)

CRUST:
1 1/4 cups (10 oz) (scant) Water (room temperature- about 70-F to 80-F)
1 teaspoon (0.38 oz) White Granulated Sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons (0.25 oz) Active Dry Yeast (or 1 packet)
1/2 cup (3.5 oz) Yellow Cornmeal
3 1/2 cups (18 oz) All-Purpose Flour (don’t use bread flour, we want a biscuit like dough)
1 teaspoon (0.25 oz) Table Salt
1/2 cup (3.5 oz) Cooking Oil ( 7 Tbsp Corn or Canola oil and 1 Tbsp Olive Oil) - Corn oil adds a buttery flavor

-Add sugar and yeast to water, stir well. If not using Instant yeast, allow the yeast to bloom in water for about 15-minutes. If using instant yeast, you can use the water mixture right away.
-Stir in flour and cornmeal and salt. Mix well.
-Stir in the cooking oils.
-Mix for 1 minute then knead for 3 minutes. Add more flour or warm water, a Tablespoon at a time, as needed, to make a workable dough.
-Don’t over-knead, we want a biscuit like dough for the pizza.
-Form dough into a ball, place in bowl, coat lightly with oil, cover bowl and let rise in a warm place for 6 hours. This long rise time develops a rich flavor in the dough that comes through in the baked crust. You can use the dough after about 1 hour of rise, but it won’t have the deep flavor.
-Punch down dough and allow it to rest 10 to 15 minutes.

PIZZA TOPPING:
8 oz - 1 cup Ragu Roasted Garlic Parmesan sauce - from 16 oz jar
10 oz Cara Mia Marinated Artichoke Hearts, drained - from 14.75 oz jar

11 oz Tyson Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast, thawed from frozen 22 oz bag
2 Tablespoons Bacon Bits
2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder

ASSEMBLE AND BAKE PIZZA:
-Press dough into a 14 inch pizza pan. Press dough evenly across the bottom of the pizza pan, filling up to the edge.
-Spread white Ragu Roasted Garlic Parmesan sauce evenly over the pizza dough in the pan, leaving about 1/2-inch of dough bare around the edge of the pizza.
-Evenly distribute the drained marinated artichoke hearts over the white sauce on the pizza.
-Evenly distribute the thawed Leaf Spinach over the white sauce on the pizza.
-Evenly distribute the Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast over the white sauce on the pizza.
-Evenly sprinkle the Bacon Bits and 2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder over the pizza.
-Evenly sprinkle the shredded Kraft Italian 5 Cheeses over the pizza.
