Peanut Butter Cake

2 cups All purpose flour
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown sugar packed
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Creamy peanut butter
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Buttermilk
3 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
– Frosting –
6 tablespoons Milk
1/4 cup creamy Peanut butter
1 pound Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, soda, salt, and set aside.
In a medium saucepan combine butter, peanut butter and water. Bring to a boil and boil for one
minute, then remove from heat and add to flour mixture. In a smaller bowl combine buttermilk, eggs,
vanilla, and whisk together. Add to flour and peanut butter mixture. Spread batter into a jelly roll pan
or a cookie sheet with high sides. Do not use a 9 x 13 dish. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

Frosting:

Ice while the cake is warm. In a medium saucepan bring milk and peanut butter to a boil, and remove
from heat. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well and pour over warm cake.
