DOUGH: You can alsouse the dough for flat mennonite pie.
2 cups flour
1 tsp.baking powder
1 tsp.salt
1 tblsp.lard (room temperature)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 egg

Method:
Mix together dry ingredients,rub in lard.
Add slightiy beaten egg,milk and cream.
If dough is too soft add a little more flour.
Roll out on lightly floured surface,a little thicker than pie crust.
Cut in 4-41/2 inch squares.Place chopped fruit of your choice in center of each square.
Moisten edges and bring up opposite corners.Seal well so juices can’t run out.
Bake at 400 for 25 min.
