Pig’s Ears or Potpie Dumplings from 1966

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons bacon fat
3/4 cup water

Mix as pastry, cut squares and then
triangles and drop in boiling chicken
or beef broth for 15 minutes.
