Plum Cake Recipe



130 gr flour
50 gr almond flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
120 gr butter, softened
200 gr + 2 Tbsp sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
120 ml milk
6-8 plums, pitted and quartered


Preheat oven to 180 C.

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

Cream the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together to make a thick batter. Add in the dry ingredients and combine.
Add in the milk last.

Pour into a greased 22 cm springform pan.

Slice the plums however you like, you can quarter them or halve them, depending on the size. Decorate the top with the plums and sprinkle the 2 tbsp of remaining sugar on top.

Bake in a preheated oven for 60-70 minutes.

Let rest in the pan 30 minutes, then run a knife around the sides and unmold.
