Poppy Seed Poundcake Muffins

1 Cup Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
2 eggs beaten
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract or almond
2 cups Flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp poppy seeds

Cream together sugar, butter and beaten eggs. Beat in yogurt and add flavoring.

Combine flour, baking soda, salt and poppy seeds. Stir into creamed mixture.

Pour batter into well greased muffin tins.

Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
