Pork Chop Soup

1 lb. pork chops
7 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 (16oz) can tomatoes
1 c. fresh or frozen black-eye peas
1 c. snapped fresh green beans
1 c. whole kernel corn
1 1/2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 bottle 57 sauce

Combine first 5 ingredients in large pot; cook about 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Discard bones and chop meat into bite size pieces. Skim fat off of broth. Add remaining ingredients except potatoes and cabbage. Cook 30 minutes; add potatoes and cabbage. and cook soup and additional 30 minutes.

*I save the pork chops that come in the bottom of the packages.The ones the butcher does not want you to see. They are not good enough to fry, but they are perfect for this recipe.
