Red Lion Horseshoe Sandwich
1 quart milk
2 sticks (1 cup) butter or margarine
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
dash cayenne pepper
1 pint beer
Melt butter, add flour, then add milk slowly until smooth. Add
remaining ingredients, except beer.Cook on low until cheese is melted. Add beer.
Serve over any cooked meats or eggs, which have been placed on two
slices of buttered toast. Cover with french fries.
