Red Lobster Cajun Chicken Linguine Alfredo

2 chicken breasts, boneless,skinless, cut into thin strips
2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
2 Tbsp. Butter
8 Green Pepper slices
8 Red Pepper Slices
1/2-1lb mushrooms
1 green onion, sliced
1 -2 cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
4 ounces linguine, cooked and drained
grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in resealable plastic bag and shake to coat. In a large skillet over medium heat saute the chicken breast strips in butter until almost tender. Approximately 5-7 minutes. Add the peppers, mushrooms and onion. Cook while stirring for 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat. Add cream and seasonings; heat through. Add linguine and toss; heat through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
