Root Beer Float Cookies

Root Beer Float Cookies

1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tsp.root beer extract
1 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, buttermilk, eggs,
rootbeer extract and vanilla. Beat at medium speed. Add flour, baking
soda, and salt. Beat at low speed until dough is blended.

4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Drop dough by teaspoons 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets
(lightly greased). Bake at 350 for 13-17 minutes. Cool completely.


Mix together…
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. half and half
2 tsp. butter softened
1 tsp. root beer extract

Beat until smooth and spread on completely cooled cookies. Makes about

5 dozen cookies.
