Salted Peanut Crisps

Salted Peanut Crisps

1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups salted peanuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Blend in flour, soda, and salt. Mix in peanuts. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of greased glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

My DH loves cookies with nuts in them, I printed it already but have a question. Do you chop the p-nuts before adding or just add them? Just wondering, thanks. Salted anything in a sweet recipe is so good.
