Sausage, Onions and Mushrooms

Ingredients

1 lb of both hot and sweet sausage
1 lb of mushrooms quartered
2 vidalia onions
1 tbsp of crushed garlic
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a pan.
Cook in the oven on 350 for one hour, covered.

Help out us novices - are the sausages to be cut up or left whole? Are the onions to be cut up or left whole. Do you serve this with pasta or make sandwiches or both? There is no sauce or liquid, yes? Thanks.

I want to thank THE Kitchen Witch for helping you out Joyce J. I will let you know what I did for this recipe. I left the sausage whole. I served this with sandwich rolls. I did put a red sauce warmed up on the side in a bowl so if anyone wanted to add it, they could. Yes, most people use a red sauce. But make this without any sauce just the garlic and oil. I hope you enjoy it.
