Shane’s Toasted French Bread with Avocado Cream Cheese Spread
1 loaf French bread, bias sliced ¾ to 1 inch thick
Olive oil
1 4 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp butter, softened
1 avocado
2 Tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp cayenne
Place slices of bread on baking sheet and brush with plenty of olive oil. Toast bread under broiler to desired brownness. Mix remaining ingredients, mashing the avocado as you go. Spread onto toasted slices of bread.
