SMOTHERED SHRIMP

Ingredients:

5 lb. shrimp
5 large onions, chopped
5 bell pepper, chopped
Celery salt
Juice of 1 lemon
2 sticks butter
Black pepper
Cayenne pepper
1/2 C. water
Garlic bread

Remove heads and wash shrimp; do not peel. Drain well. Melt butter
in a large pot. Layer shrimp, onions, bell pepper, celery salt, black
pepper and cayenne pepper equally. Pour lemon juice over shrimp;
add water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook until shrimp are
done. Check shrimp often; shrimp are done when they peel easily.
Serve juices and vegetables with garlic bread. Dip garlic bread into
the juice.

Sounds like that might be pretty good. I like shrimp because they are so versatile, there is so much you can do with them. I’m a big fan of marinating them and throwing them on the grill.
