Spaghetti Pizza Pie

This recipe was sent to me by my mother in law. My husband really likes it - it’s easy and fast to make.


8 oz. spaghetti, cooked, drained
1/2 cup grated parmeasan cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 lb. ground beef, cooked, drained
2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

Toss cooked spaghetti, parmeasan cheese and egg. Place in 9 inch pie plate. Press along bottom and sides to form crust.

Mix cooked meat and spaghetti sauce. Spread meat mixture over spaghetti crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.

Makes 8 servings

I made a version of this a few months ago. But mine was a little different. The noodles base was the same, but then I put a layer of cottage cheese, and topped it with ground beef that was mixed with a little tomato paste and seasonings. Then sprinkled it with mozz. cheese.

Sounds good too - will have to note that on my recipe!

i usually don’t eat beef so Can i use pock instend of ground beef?
