1/2 c. sliced black olives
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 tsp.crushed red pepper flakes,or to taste
3 T. olive oil
2 (14-15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 lb. spaghetti
Cook olives, garlic & red pepper flakes in oil in nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring, until garlic is golden, about 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes & salt and simmer, stirring occasionally & breaking up large pieces of tomato, until sauce is slightly thickened, 10 - 15 minutes.
While sauce is simmering, cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain & add to sauce. Cook, tossing, over medium-low heat until pasta is coated, about 1 minute.
This is easy & really good, especially if you like spicy stuff!
